What are dermal fillers?
Dermal fillers like Restylane and Perlane are used to plump up, soften and contour lines, folds and wrinkles. The filler is injected into the skin producing volume and plumpness to lips, jaw line, cheeks and lift lines and wrinkles in the area being treated. Karen uses the Restylane range of dermal fillers which are totally natural, non-visible and non-animal products. Dermal fillers are an ideal treatment

Where can dermal fillers be used?
Karen is advanced trained and experienced in treating the following areas.

  After treatment:
Immediately after your treatment you may have swelling, bruising, redness and occasional discomfort and itching. These typical side effects will resolve within a few days. A touch up treatment within 2-4 weeks may be necessary to achieve desired effect.

Minimized bruising and swelling:
Karen is one of the few aesthetic consultants in the UK to be trained to use the new Restylane cannula. This wonderful new innovative way of introducing the Restylane range of dermal fillers into the skin is taking dermal fillers to an exciting new level. Unlike a sharp needle the cannula is blunt ended reducing tissue, nerve or blood vessels trauma and decreasing the risk of swelling and bruising. It is virtually painless too. You will have less injection entry points as the long cannula will reach a wide area and can be moved around in different directions without discomfort. Karen and her patients are delighted with the results.
  

 
Pain relief:
Restylane dermal fillers contain a local anaesthetic for a more comfortable procedure. A local anaesthetic nerve block is used when treating lips, top lip lines and mid faced augmentations.
  
 
Your treatment:
A consultation with Karen will help you to decide on what are your requirements and expectations and you can see a series of before and after photographs of clients who have had treatment to allow you to see what can be achieved. You will also have before and after photographs so that you can see the full effect of your treatment. Treatment takes approximately 40 minutes and the effects can be seen immediately.
 

 
Cost of treatments:
Prices depend on the amount of treatment materials required and how deep your lines are. Discounts are considerable for multiple treatments. Treatment can be done in stages which will also allow you to spread the cost. Consultation, medical assessment and photographs are free.
