What are dermal fillers?
Dermal fillers like Restylane and Perlane are used to smooth out, soften and contour lines, folds and wrinkles and enhance lip volume to create fuller lips and improve the mouth shape. Restylane vital is used for crepey and is called the liquid facelift. To add maximum volume to create cheeks, a more prominant chin and more defined jaw line Restylane Sub Q is used. Restylane is a crystal clear gel form of hyaluronic acid, which is a substance that occurs naturally in the body. As we get older hylauronic acid diminishes and lines and wrinkles appear. Injecting Restylane under the line or wrinkle will replenish the loss and add volume. The results can be seen instantly.
Restylane is a non permanent dermal filler that will be absorbed naturally over time. The effect will last for 6-12 months and will vary with each individual, however regular treatments will ensure that the effect is longer lasting. Restylane has a proven safety track record and up until 2008 has been safely used in more than 10 million treatments.
